Why do Businesses plateau? What is the ONE thing you need to do to increase revenue? How do you choose the one thing?

We all understand the frustrations and fears of being in a business that seems to have plateaued.

But how can you stand back and objectively view what needs to be done to kick start revenue growth?

This workshop is designed to be a field trip through the landscape of your business and with a trained geologist's eye, uncover the hidden assets and opportunities that are right there under your feet, waiting to be found and brought on stream.

These hidden assets, coupled with a clear growth strategy, are the fuel to your future growth.

The master-class will deliver you:

  • An understanding of where your business is in relation to the economy.
  • The ability to recognise and build assets in the business.
  • A powerful growth strategy for your business (there are only 6 to choose from!)
  • Support in uncovering what you are brilliant at but don't currently get paid for.
  • Practical examples of unleashing hidden assets in business we work with.

A select team of experienced Shirlaws coaches will be on hand to guide you through this exploration and re-evaluation of assets and resources hidden in your business. Paul Johnston, Ed Percival, Graham Wilson, and Paul Walsh are experienced business leaders who have the organisational, innovation, geology and 'magical alchemy' skills to help your business grow again.

2013.06.17 - "The power of AMAZING: how to create growth in a no growth world"

Date & Time: Monday 17th June, 5pm
Location: One Southampton Row, London, WC1B 5HA
Investment: Complimentary
Contact: Emma Perry 0118 366 2013

Due to popular demand, this event is now fully booked.

Join Vernon W. Hill II, Founder of Metro Bank and John Rosling, CEO of Shirlaws, for an evening of extraordinary insights that will simply transform your view of how big businesses can be.

This is a rare opportunity to hear one of the truly great entrepreneurs of his generation, Vernon Hill, speak candidly and insightfully about how he built an $8 billion business from scratch, what he has learnt along the way, how he is doing it again, and why he believes that any entrepreneur can create an amazing growth business even in a flat market. This is the talk about which Tom Peters said: "I would bet a pretty penny that many a pretty penny will be yours if you follow this approach".

John Rosling runs Shirlaws in the UK, the name behind some of the great entrepreneurial success stories of recent years. John will give his perspective on the Metro Bank story and the clear lessons every entrepreneur can learn and apply today. In a highly practical talk, John will demonstrate the seven critical "layers" every business must build to create sustainable growth, wealth (and freedom), and how this understanding unlocks the secrets behind the amazing Commerce Bank and Metro Bank stories.

"The most inspiring day I have ever had in my business life"

There are only a few remaining places for this event, but please reserve your place now to avoid disappointment.

Vernon W. Hill II is the founder of Metro Bank UK and Commerce Bank. Hill founded Commerce Bank in 1973 and it became the fastest growing bank in the US before being sold in 2007 for $8.5 billion. As a noted critic of traditional banking customer "service", Vernon launched Metro Bank in London in 2010, the first new high street bank to be created in 138 years, with the intention of creating a banking revolution. With over 150,000 customers already Metro Bank is on target to have 30 stores this year. Vernon is the author of "Fans Not Customers", the book about which Tom Peters said: "I didn't find anything not worth reading".
